Weight Management
Medical Weight Management
Weight is not a question of willpower. It is metabolism, hormones, sleep, medication and habit, and every one of those can be measured. We start with diagnostics, add nutritional guidance, and consider medication only where it is medically indicated.

How the programme runs
- 1 First consultation Medical history, examination and a weight-related risk profile. We agree what needs measuring.
- 2 Diagnostics Blood analysis and body composition, plus hormones where your history points to it.
- 3 Your plan The findings read together, nutritional guidance with measurable goals, and the decision on whether GLP-1 medication is indicated for you.
- 4 Every four weeks The same measurements repeated, so changes to the plan follow what has actually moved.
- 5 After twelve weeks We go through what changed and decide with you whether the programme continues. You keep a written plan either way.

About GLP-1 medication
- Swiss basic insurance covers Wegovy from a BMI of 35, or from a BMI of 27 with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes or sleep apnoea.
- For that cover, the prescription has to come from a specialist in endocrinology and diabetology or from a specialised obesity centre. We carry out the assessment, coordinate that step where it applies and stay your point of contact.
- Cover also requires nutritional guidance and more physical activity alongside the medication, plus a review after about 16 weeks: at least 5 % weight loss.
- Mounjaro is currently not reimbursed by basic insurance in Switzerland.
- The present reimbursement rule for Wegovy runs until the end of February 2027.
Medication is never the starting point. Without diagnostics, nutritional guidance and follow-up
measurement it is guesswork, and we do not prescribe it that way. If a medication is not
right for you, we say so.

a conversation.
The first consultation, then diagnostics and body composition, then a plan. Medication only where it is medically indicated.
